Suitable for recycling Wash the grapefruits, pat dry and cut crossways in half. Using a sharp knife, loosen the flesh from the peel without removing it. Place the grapefruit halves on the barbecue. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Divide the butter into small knobs and place on top of the fruit. Grill the fruit on a hot grill rack. Remove once the sugar has melted. Serve with a chilled mild white wine.
